National Institute of Technology (NIT) conducts the Haryana Common Engineering Entrance Test. This exam is conducted for admitting students for B.Tech., B.E. and B.Arch courses. The candidates are admitted to various government as well as private institutes on the basis of this test.

The HCEET is usually conducted in the month of March. Each year, many aspirants appear for the entrance to get admission in some of the most prestigious institutes in India. A Common Engineering Entrance Test (CEET) for admission to 4 year B.E/B.Tech course and 5 Year B.Arch courses at the Government and Private Engineering Colleges in Haryana is conducted by National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra. This CEET entrance examination qualification on 10+2 examination Passed of Senior Secondary Certificate from Haryana Board / CBSE or its equivalent with 50% marks Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and a pass in English.

Haryana Board B.Tech., B.E. and B.Arch courses admissions in various State Engineering Colleges of Haryana HCEET Model Papers 2018 will be done on the basis of JEE Main 2018 score and the Government will only hold Haryana 2018 counseling for admission in first year of various undergraduate courses in both government and private colleges (Deemed Universities, Private Colleges and Govt. colleges).The Haryana 2018 Counseling will be done off campus and online on the official website at hstes.org.
